Brief History of Manado
Manado is one of the oldest cities in eastern Indonesia. This city has a long history as a center of trade and government since the VOC (Dutch East India Company) era in the 17th century. The Dutch colonial influence is strongly felt in the architecture and urban planning of Manado to this day.
