Tomohon International Flower Festival

Tomohon International Flower Festival 2026 (TIFF 2026) is an internationally renowned flower festival and the pride of Tomohon. The festival showcases magnificent flower-decorated floats, Minahasan cultural parades, art performances, and tourism and floriculture exhibitions from North Sulawesi. It has become one of Indonesia’s largest tourism events and is recognized internationally.

TIFF 2026 is scheduled to take place from August 7–12, 2026, with the main highlights being the “Tournament of Flowers” and the “Tomohon Flower Carnival” held in the heart of Tomohon City. Thousands of colorful fresh flowers will decorate the parade vehicles along the city’s main streets, creating a spectacular atmosphere that blends art, culture, and the cool mountain scenery of Tomohon.

This year, TIFF carries the theme “Collaboration of Spirit,” representing the spirit of collaboration between the government, local communities, businesses, creative industries, diaspora, and international partners in promoting tourism and regional culture.

In addition to the flower parade, TIFF 2026 also features floriculture exhibitions, tourism and investment expos, cultural performances, traditional Minahasan dances, local music, and promotions of local small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The festival is not only an entertainment event but also a driver of the creative economy and an international promotional platform for North Sulawesi.

Since it was first held in 2008, TIFF has grown into a tourism icon of Tomohon and has been included in Indonesia’s prestigious Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN) 2026 by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. This further strengthens TIFF’s position as an international-class flower festival attracting both domestic and international visitors.
